Remember you only need a fraction of the product to get the same effect you would from a vaporizer or ice catcher. You will save money by cutting down on the amount you use, and in the process keep yourself more healthy from the water-filtered smoke. 1. Fill your Gravity Vortex up with fresh water. New water should be used each time, and drained after the party is over. To fill the unit up quickly, turn the value to the vertical position. If your sink faucet is tall enough, put your Gravity Vortex under the water stream, with the mouthpiece directly under the water stream. The water will go in as long as the carb hole is not covered, collecting in the bottom chamber. Ok. Now it is smoking time. 2. Turn the Gravity Vortex upside-down to drain the water to the top-chamber. Close the valve by turning it horizontal. Now the water is suspended in the top chamber. Get ready. This is where the fun starts. 3. Insert the glass bowl (9mm size) into the opening inside the mouthpiece. Add the smoking substance of your choice. Of course, the Gravity Vortex is for tobacco use only. Turn the handle vertical and light the product. The flame should be sucked down into the product, creating a nice cherry. At this time your are trading the space of water in the top chamber for smoke. Once the smoking product is lit, take off the flame and let the Gravity Vortex roast the hit for you. The top chamber is now filled with a water-filtered gravity hit. 3. Remove the bowl and inhale. The smoke is smooth like a vaporizer so you wont burn your lungs. It is recommended to use pipe screens with your Gravity Vortex. This will help keep the down stem cleaner. 4. Turn the Gravity Vortex over to drain the water back to the top-chamber. Close the valve by turning it to the horizontal position. 5. Go to step one and repeat until satisfied. SMOKERS TIP: If you are looking for the most massive smoke possible, use the carb hole to slow down the water flow.This is how you "milk the chamber" and get a monster hit. SMOKERS TIP: You will know you are hitting the Gravity Vortex perfectly when you hear a whistling sound come from the carb hole. Make sure the water has completely drained before you inhale from the mouth piece. If you inhale too soon, you might drink Vortex water. We do not advise this. We highly recommend using Green Glass Clean. It is a 100% natural green glass and poly carbonate cleaner. It literally melts the resin on contact. You shouldn't need too much help cleaning your Gravity Vortex if you follow the steps below, but if you need more assistance, check out the video above, which is coming soon. Keep you Gravity Vortex clean. Follow these steps. The first thing you are going to ask is....how does it come apart. It doesn't. We decided to make this product durable and to do that we had to weld the pieces together. It does take a bit longer to clean it, but better than it breaking. 1. Make sure your valve on the side is pointed vertical. That means that air can pass through the unit and allow for the cleaner and water to pass between the chambers. Use a bristle bottle brush to get all the way down the stem. Apply Green Glass Clean to your brush and rotate and plunge the stem. Look at it from the side to find areas that need more cleaning. 2. Pour a mixture of warm water and Green Glass Clean down the stem and into the unit, where it will mostly collect on the bottom. 3. Cover the mouthpiece and carb hole. Now you can pass the cleaner between both chambers as you cover the inside with cleaner. Shake it up really good like you are a bartender. Pour out the cleaner through the carb hole and look at how much crap comes out. Depending on how long it has been since your last cleaning, you might have to repeat the process again. Our advice is to not let it get dirty in the first place. That's all there is to it.
